Sweeeeet!
There are TWO of those in Fox Lake, IL. One I see in a garage a few times a week in the summer. The other I’ve seen on the road, also a few times a summer.
I know they’re not the same car because two years ago I saw them just a few minutes apart.
I don’t think I’d want to own one, and be perpetually battling rust, but I’m happy others are up for the challenge!

Honestly I didn’t know what it was at first. I had to look it up. This was probably the only one I have ever seen.

I know a guy in Canada who has had one for decades and swears one day he’ll restore.

This one looked to be in very good condition.
I sent these photos to my dad and he freaked out. I guess this is a car the old man loves. He couldn’t believe I saw one just out driving around.

Haven't seen one in person in decades. Nice find!

I don’t think I’ve seen one of these since I was a freshman in college in 1979. I was looking at apartments and there was one outside one that we ultimately didn’t choose. I didn’t (and still don’t) know much about them, but it had a Trans Am style shaker hood and similar automatic shifter.

If that’s the one with the primered shaker, I’ve seen it a lot. Usually parked outside the Wired Right car stereo shop in Fairview. Always liked the Can Am, disco stripes rule.

I didn’t get a look at the shaker or front end. These pics were taken in Lebanon.

My Grandfather has a soft spot for these old things. Whilst it’s not my thing (Elise, MR2, various Italians owner), it makes me happy to see one in the wild. :)
